spiritual courage - coming out of the proverbial closet

Stepping Out of the Spiritual Closet

What Courage Really Looks Like Today

A while back, someone told me after reading one of my articles, “I don’t agree with your beliefs, but I really respect the courage it takes to put yourself out there.” That comment stuck with me. Instead of attacking my views, they recognized the bravery it takes to openly discuss spirituality in a world where many people either tiptoe around it or keep it completely hidden.

The Early Days of Angel Guidance

When I first embarked on my spiritual journey, I didn’t feel brave at all. Honestly, it felt like I was stumbling around in the dark with just a tiny flashlight. My angels were the ones giving me the strength and gentle pushes to step outside my comfort zone. Life seemed to flow more easily when I tuned into their guidance. I learned to trust the signs, the nudges, and the whispers.

Then everything changed.

They started encouraging me to tap into my own higher guidance. To listen to what was inside me rather than just looking upward. At that moment, I didn’t realize it, but that was their ultimate goal: to help me find my own spiritual footing.

Walking the High Wire Without a Safety Net

The real challenge hit when I submitted an article to in5D.com. My higher self nudged me to do it, so I went for it. When the article got accepted and went live, I was over the moon for about three minutes. Then the nerves kicked in.

Seeing your work published is one thing; watching strangers react to it in real time is a whole different ball game. Without my usual sense of angelic support, I felt completely exposed. It was like stepping into a bright spotlight in front of an unseen crowd.

Some comments were kind, while others were less so. That’s just how life is in a world of contrasts, but I wasn’t ready for the sudden wave of vulnerability. It’s a bizarre feeling to be both proud and terrified at the same time.

A New Appreciation for Spiritual Trailblazers

That experience really deepened my appreciation for those brave individuals who openly share their spiritual gifts day in and day out. They show up, they keep pushing forward, and they shine brightly, all while knowing that there will always be someone out there who disagrees, misunderstands, or criticizes them.

It’s so easy to hide behind a screen and tear someone down. But it takes real courage to reveal your heart, your beliefs, or your healing work and stand there without any protective armor. Anyone who dares to do that truly deserves a moment of recognition.

We Are All Pieces of the Same Puzzle

If we genuinely want to heal our world, we need to start with how we treat each other. Supporting one another doesn’t mean we have to agree with every belief someone holds. It simply means creating a safe space where people can grow, express themselves, and shine.

We don’t all need to share the same views. We don’t need to speak the same language. We don’t even need to walk the same path. But what we do need is respect. Each of us holds a small piece of the bigger picture, and the only way to fit the puzzle together is by stopping the attacks and starting to listen.

To the Brave Souls Lighting the Way

To everyone who has bravely stepped out of the spiritual closet…
To everyone sharing their healing gifts despite facing resistance…
To everyone shining a light in the darkest corners…

Bless you.
Keep pushing forward.
And may the angels continue to walk alongside you, whether you feel their presence right behind you or quietly cheering you on from afar.
