Do you feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day? Do you regret missed opportunities from your past? Are you worried about the future? If so, you’re in the majority. Most people have a dysfunctional relationship with time.
On the eternal soul plane, time is immaterial. It’s only here on Earth where we experience this thing called time. The concept of time is but a shared illusion, yet construct of the human mind is responsible for the vast majority of stress in our lives. Why then do we let this creation of ours manipulate us like mere marionettes? Why do we not take back control? Perhaps it is because most of us do not understand the relativity of time. Albert Einstein certainly did, though. In his words, “The only reason for time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.” Indeed.
In order to fully grasp how you can manipulate time, you must first accept that time is not linear. The past, present and future are happening simultaneously. Added to that, we are multidimensional beings having concurrent life experiences in countless parallel realities. The being who you are at this moment, in this reality, is but one portion of your entire being. The conscious portion of your current identity is unaware of the other probably realities, just as it is blind to past lives. Beneath the surface (or perhaps I should say ‘above’) dwells your sub-conscious mind. It is aware of the full scope and breadth of your existence(s). It is this eternal mind that possesses the power to change everything in this reality, including being able to manipulate time. Your Higher Self knows exactly how to expand and contract time, as need be.
How to Manipulate Time
The process of time manipulation is as easy as child’s play. I say this with great conviction for I keenly remember ‘a time before time’. I was in my first year of school, and doing well in every subject save one: telling time. The teacher could not understand my uncharacteristic reticence to learn, and so she contacted my mother for help. That evening, Mum approached me and asked why I wasn’t doing well with that unit at school. I replied with great earnest, “Well, if I learn to tell time, then everyone will expect me to be on time.” So young and yet so wise!
In order to unchain yourself from the expectations and limitations of time, you simply need to change the way you view time. If you don’t know what I mean, think of an activity that you dearly love. When you are engrossed in this happy activity, time seems to pass quickly; in fact, you lose all track of time. Now compare that with something that fills you with dread. You get the idea. So, to eliminate time-related stress, you could fill your days with events that make you happy. In an ideal world, that would be an ideal solution; however, in this life you need to adapt to the challenges and stresses that you face daily.
Stop Watching the Clock
This includes putting away your device that keeps you mentally enslaved to the concept of time. I know you think you cannot survive without these timekeeping devises, but rest assured your body’s internal clock will quickly adapt and take over where technology left off. It is far better to naturally awaken at a selected hour than to be rattled out of your reverie by an alarm.
Prioritize
Eliminate anything that doesn’t serve your highest good. This is tough to do in the beginning, but with enough practice you will become quite adept at saying ‘no’ to countless demands on your time.
Mentally Expand or Contract Time
Here is the creative component to this process. Once you stop watching the clock, and you have eliminated all the menial drains on your time, you have the opportunity to manipulate the concept of time in order to accommodate all your needs. If you feel you need more time, mentally expand the shape of time.
Visualize yourself inside a minute, pushing out the walls, creating a bubble of expanded time. Because everything really is happening concurrently, we really only exist in the ‘now’, so a minute is all your need. Remember, time is relative. It can be fast or slow. The same minute can feel like an eternity or be over in the blink of an eye.
When you need to pass quickly through ‘non events” (i.e. sitting in traffic or waiting in line) visualize time speeding up. Have fun with the conceptualizations. Give yourself permission to play around with the concept of time, and see what you can create.
Release the Need to Control Time
Sometimes no matter how much we manipulate time, we just can’t make things happen at the rate we desire. That is because not everything is in your control. Certainly you create your own reality, but the world in which you live is actually a shared creation. It is here that everyone’s realities interact. When things are not unfolding as you desire, that is surely a sign of outside forces at play. Something better may be percolating, or perhaps you have an important life lesson to learn.
Benefits of Time Manipulation
Discovering ways to create more time can greatly enhance productivity and overall well-being. One effective approach is to prioritize tasks and eliminate unnecessary activities. By identifying the most important and urgent tasks, you can allocate your time more efficiently. Additionally, delegating tasks to others or seeking assistance when needed can free up valuable time. Another strategy is to minimize distractions, such as turning off notifications or setting specific time blocks for focused work. Moreover, practicing effective time management techniques, such as setting goals, breaking tasks into smaller steps, and utilizing productivity tools, can help optimize your time usage. Lastly, taking care of your physical and mental health through regular exercise, adequate sleep, and stress management can provide you with the energy and clarity needed to make the most of your time.
