Messages from the Other Side
Receiving messages from our departed loved ones has the incredible power to provide us with a sense of closure and inner peace. These messages, whether they come in the form of signs, dreams, or even through mediums, offer us a profound connection to those who have passed away. They remind us that love transcends the boundaries of life and death, and that our loved ones are still with us in spirit. These messages bring comfort, healing, and a renewed sense of hope, allowing us to find solace in knowing that our departed loved ones are watching over us and guiding us from beyond.
I received wonderful signs after my father passed.
The first Christmas without Dad left me feeling rather blue. Because of my lack of enthusiasm, we chose to limit our decorating to the main level of the house. Despite sadness, it gave me pleasure to display the charming painted wooden Christmas ornaments and Santas that my father had carved.
After we finished decorating upstairs, I went downstairs to do laundry. Suddenly, a flash of yellow caught my eye. Much to my surprise, I saw one of Dad’s carved ornaments – a little yellow fishing boat with Dad’s name written on the bottom – hanging on the handle of our wood stove, near the bed that Dad slept in when he stayed with us. I assumed that Steve had brought the wee ornament downstairs but, when I asked him, he said he thought I had put it there.
We were both momentarily confused. There were no other decorations downstairs, and no one else had been in our basement in over a year. Suddenly, I knew the answer. It was a sign from Dad! He had come to visit us in spirit form, to let us know that he was alive and well. He chose an ornament that he had carved, and which had his name written on it, to ensure that we knew he had been there. The message could not have been clearer.
This amazing realization filled me with profound joy.
I excitedly shared the news with my mother and, as we chatted on the phone, two separate strands of Christmas lights suddenly lit up her living room. Dad was giving us another sign!
I share this with you to give you hope and comfort. Our departed loved ones are never really gone, and they never stop loving us. When our time comes to leave this plane, they will be there to welcome us back Home.
Beautiful
Thank you, Peter! 🙂
This is such a nice experience! I actually had a similar one as well. This past Christmas was also my first one without my Dad. On Christmas Day, after we were finished opening our gifts, I decided I was going to put things back under the tree. As I was doing this I noticed a yellow piece of paper sitting directly on the tree skirt, which was definitely not there before. I turned it over and it was an old banking receipt from 1992 with my dads name on it. I couldn’t believe it, especially considering this was at my mom and stepdad’s place. The year 1992 is significant to me and Dad because it was the year the Blue Jays won the World Series, and my Dad was at both games. We used to talk about it frequently, I always think of my Dad when I see a blue jay. I love that my Dad showed up on Christmas Day. Thank you for sharing your experience!
I love it!! What a wonderful message from your father. Thank you so much for sharing, Laura.
This is so touching, Kim! I’m happy that you and your mom could receive his energy. You know he’s always with you and no more than a heartbeat away but the moments of confirmation are so sweet. Warm Wishes for a Blessed 2022 to you and your family. XOXO, Rosemary
