This Privacy Policy applies to our website (clayhuthealing.ca), and describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use our website and services, and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
We use Your Personal data to provide you with the healing service(s) that you purchase.
By using our website and services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
On May 1, 2023, we uninstalled StatCounter. We no longer use tracking and/or analytical tools on our main website (clayhuthealing.ca).
Please note, however, this does not apply to our Blog (clayhuthealing.ca/wordpress/). It has its own Cookies Policy.
As of May 1, 2023 we have begun to use Proton Mail, a well-established encrypted email service, for correspondence with clients as it offers greater privacy and security.
We also recently installed Proton VPN on our devices to further protect your privacy. This Swiss-based service securely sends your internet traffic through an encrypted VPN tunnel so your confidential data stays safe. A virtual private network (VPN) encrypts internet traffic helping to disguise your identity and activity on the internet.
Your contact data (first and last name, email address, phone number and address) is stored in the address books of our Proton Mail email accounts. We also maintain client contact records which are stored locally (offline), and are backed up on our external hard drive. We keep your information only as long as we need to, or as required by law.
If we use the services of a cloud storage site, we will only chose a service that has high security such as pCloud and Proton Drive.
When we dispose of our computers or external hard drive, we first erase the hard drive, then we physically destroy the hard drive.
Despite our best efforts, please bear in mind that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We use pCloud and DropBox to securely host the audio recordings that accompany some of our services. These cloud storage sites are necessary because the audio files are too large to email.
The online recordings are deleted after approximately 6 months. Offline, we only save a client's most recent recording; the older ones are deleted.
You are encouraged to download and save the file to your own device and/or backup site for safekeeping.
We do not knowingly gather information from, or sell services to, children under the age of 18.
We provide healings for children, but a parent or guardian must purchase the session and make all the arrangements for the child.
We use the services of PayPal and Zazzle to sell our services and merchandise.
When someone places an order using PayPal, we are only privy to the contact information provided by that individual. We do not see any credit card or debit card information. Please see PayPal's Privacy Statement for information about their practices.
When buying merchandise from Zazzle, you are using their site exclusively. It would be prudent of you to check their privacy policy.
You have the right to request that we delete your information at any time, and we will promptly comply.
This Privacy Policy will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will place a notice on our website.
If you have any questions about our Privacy Policy, please contact us. We would be happy to clarify anything that is unclear.
