If you have, you know that it can cause a great deal of spiritual and cognitive dissidence. When we are faced with strongly divergent ideas, we experience discomfort, bordering on psychological pain. Spiritual Awakening is Destructive In 3-D we were living with very limited awareness which kept us in the dark, so to speak. Our old beliefs were based on past experiences that were more limited in scope and awareness than our present awareness. We filled in the blanks and extrapolated based on our limited understanding.
