Have you ever felt a sudden warmth in your heart, noticed a feather at your feet, or listened to a song that perfectly matched your emotions, making you wonder if it was just a coincidence? Many of us receive gentle yet powerful messages from the other side, often from those we have lost. These significant signs remind us that love is everlasting, the soul continues, and the spirit world is closer than we think.<\/p>\n

Messages from our departed loved ones possess the incredible power to provide us with closure and inner peace. They bring comfort, healing, and a renewed sense of hope, assuring us that our loved ones are watching over us and guiding us from beyond. Below are some common ways in which spirits communicate and how to recognize their loving presence.<\/p>\n

My Personal Experiences<\/h2>\n

A Carved Christmas Ornament<\/h3>\n

My father passed away unexpectedly in October of 2021. The first Christmas without him left me feeling rather blue. Because of my lack of enthusiasm, we chose to limit our decorating to the main level of the house. Despite sadness, it gave me pleasure to display a charming collection of painted wooden Christmas ornaments and carved Santas that Dad created for us.<\/p>\n

After we finished decorating upstairs, I went downstairs to do laundry. Suddenly, a flash of yellow caught my eye. Much to my surprise, I saw one of Dad’s carved ornaments – a little yellow fishing boat – hanging on the handle of our wood stove, near the bed that he slept in when he stayed with us. I assumed that Steve had brought the wee ornament downstairs, but when I asked him, he said he thought I had put it there. We were both momentarily confused. There were no other decorations downstairs, and no one else had been in our basement in over a year.<\/p>\n

Suddenly, I knew the answer. It was a sign from Dad! He had come to visit us in spirit form, to let us know that he was alive and well. He chose an ornament he had carved, one with his name painted on the bottom of it, to ensure that we knew he had been there. The message could not have been clearer.<\/p>\n

Flashing Lights<\/h3>\n

This amazing realization filled me with profound joy. I excitedly shared the news with my mother and, as we chatted on the phone, two separate strands of Christmas lights suddenly lit up her living room. Dad was giving us another sign! Both our spirits were lifted thanks to Dad’s ‘visits’.<\/p>\n

A Birthday Blue Jay<\/h3>\n

Five months later, on Dad’s birthday, a beautiful blue jay flew up to my office window and started to peck at the glass. I sat and watched him, completely mesmerized. He stopped and stared at me for the longest time. Then Dad’s voice popped into my head, and I knew this was another message from my father.<\/p>\n

I share this with you to give you hope and comfort. Your departed loved ones are never really gone, and they never stop loving you. When your time comes to leave this plane, they will be there to welcome you back home.<\/p>\n
