Cut Cords

Cords of fear are negative etheric attachments to others that are conduits for the transference of energies. If people are in fear and they think of you, they can steal your calming energy and send you their anxiety in exchange. Family cords are the thickest due to years of attachment. To remove these cords envision cutting through them with etheric scissors, a sword, or a lightsaber. Feel free to also call on Archangel Michael for assistance.

Ground Yourself

Imagine that you are a tree. See or sense roots growing out of the soles of your feet and the base of your spine. Feel your energy taking root in the Earth, and imagine it branching out in all directions. Feel a taproot going all the way down to the heart of Mother Earth. Feel your energy and Gaia’s circulating throughout your body.

Infuse Your Aura with Light

See or sense a golden white light from Source flowing down your prana tube and into your crown chakra. Feel it filling each chakra and auric layer as it fills your prana tube all way down to the heart of Gaia. Envision the light expanding outwards until it encompasses the world. Feel your loving connection to all life.

Set Healthy Boundaries

  • Set limits by saying no. “No” is a complete sentence; it does not require an explanation.
  • If you feel obliged to offer an explanation say, “I’m sorry, but I am unable to help you.”
  • Practice saying no every day to get into the habit of establishing healthy boundaries.
  • Know your limits, and honour them. Do not overextend yourself.
  • Ask for help. Don’t try to do everything for everyone.
  • Honour your feelings. If you don’t feel like doing something that’s non-vital, then don’t do it.

Colour Healing

A good addition to many self-healing exercises is the inclusion of colour. Our seven major Chakras and the seven corresponding layers of our aura field each share a principal colour. It should be no surprise that these seven colours are the seven colours found in a rainbow. Everything is much more intimately related than we may realize.

Starting with the Root Chakra and working upwards the colours run red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

Before I proceed discussing colour any further there are those of you who say one can use white light to heal as white light contains all the colours of the spectrum. This is a valid point. The choice boils down to personal preference. There is no right or wrong. Honour what works best for you.

As any of you who have been to our home know, Kim and I love colour, bright colour, strong colour…we just love colour! So, for me, when I self-heal or heal others I prefer to visualize, to feel, to become the colour I am using at any given moment.

Each colour has its own unique wavelength, affects us uniquely, and is different from another colour as one chakra’s purpose is different from another chakra’s. Tuning into these differences on a more intimate level adds another dimension to the healing process.

How to Attune to Colour

The best way to become more attuned to colour is to meditate upon that colour. Wear an article of clothing corresponding to the colour you are meditating upon or have an object or piece of paper that matches the colour you wish to bond with.

As you begin to meditate set your intention to create a sacred space within you for the colour to enter. Fill that space up with the colour (i.e. red) and then allow the red wavelengths to flow out of the sacred space permeating both your physical body and your aura field. Feel the colour red, visualize yourself as totally red and become familiar with how this feels physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, truly becoming one with the colour red. Repeat for each of the other colours.

How to do this is up to you. In the beginning I liked to meditate upon one colour for fifteen to thirty minutes a day for one week.  The next week I moved on to another of the chakra colours, and the week after another for eight weeks. I added white light to my list as that is the colour I use when various parts of my body feel obliged to remind me I am no longer a spring chicken.

You may prefer to work with a new colour each day and repeating that cycle for a number of weeks until you are comfortable with each colour. There is no right or wrong; there is what feels best and works best for you.

The Colour Advantages

Once attuned to colours you will find your self-healings and other healings are ramped up a couple of notches. As the intensity of the energy increases, you distinguish the feel of each colour.

A perk of this, if you are like me and do not see colour all the time with your physical eyes, is that you will see colour with your third eye and feel the colour in your body and energy field. The information you intuit this way is as valid as anything you can see with your eyes.

So become familiar with colours, practice on yourself as you bond with each colour and, above all, have fun with colour. I do not subscribe to a lot of rules when it comes to healing but one rule I do believe in is this: healthy colours feel healthy and joyful. Embrace the joy!

Be the Tree

The sun affects us in a number of positive ways not the least of which is as a source of vitamin D so why not, on a beautiful sunny day such as today, maximize those positive benefits. Through the process of photosynthesis tress are the ultimate Sunatarians, turning sunlight into life giving energy. We can do the same.

Remember energy follows thought!

  1. Visualize the outer edge of the seventh layer of your Aura field covered with large light gathering leaves.
  2. Imagine some of the stems of these leaves flowing into each layer of your Aura Field while visualizing the majority of these stems entering into your physical body.
  3. Once you have this visualization held firmly in your heart and mind then see the sun’s energy you are collecting through your leaves flowing to your Aura layers and your physical body.
  4. As this energy flows through you it is both purging and revitalizing at the same time.
  5. See anything negative dissolving before the light, feel the sun’s energy supplementing and strengthening your own energy field.

There is no set time length for this exercise, trust your own judgment on how long a time works best for you. I find 20 minutes or more works best for me. Pick your favourite tree become a canopy of leaves, and allow the energy to flow.
